Prophetic Word
Review Policy
At WINS, we believe the prophetic is a vital and active gift in the Body of Christ today (1 Corinthians 14:1, Acts 2:17). God speaks to His people by His Spirit, through Scripture, and through the gifts He has given to the Church. We also believe the safest and healthiest way to grow in hearing God’s voice is in the context of biblical community and local church leadership (Hebrews 13:17, Ephesians 4:11–16).
Because of this, we do not offer personal prophetic words, review prophetic words you’ve received, or provide individual prophetic counsel via email, phone, or our website. Our calling is to train, equip, and release believers to minister prophetically within the covering of their own local church.
If you have received a prophetic word and are seeking wisdom on how to respond, we encourage you to:
Test it against Scripture – Every prophetic word must align with the Word of God (1 Thessalonians 5:20–21, 2 Timothy 3:16–17). If it contradicts Scripture, it is not from the Lord.
Submit it to trusted leaders – Share the word with your pastor or spiritual leaders who know you, your calling, and your character (Proverbs 11:14). They can help confirm, clarify, or correct what you’ve heard.
Pray and wait for confirmation – God is not in a hurry. If the word is from Him, He will confirm it through His Spirit, His Word, and circumstances in His timing (John 10:27, Habakkuk 2:2–3).
Our commitment at WINS is to equip the saints for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:12) and to raise up healthy prophetic voices who minister with love, humility, and accountability. We believe every believer should be rooted in a local church community where their gifts can be nurtured, tested, and used for the glory of God.
If you do not currently have a local church, we encourage you to prayerfully seek one in your area that values both the Word and the Spirit.
Thank you for understanding and honoring these boundaries. We believe they protect you, the integrity of prophetic ministry, and the health of the Body of Christ.
